Unlike Xbox 360, the achievements will not update in the achievement tracker and will remain locked in your profile until you go online again (see below). After that, reinstall the game with the physical disc inserted into the optical drive.* Doing this will allow you to trigger the achievements using console commands (or using other glitches/bugs/exploits in the unpatched version, depending on the game). Before you start playing though, you'll need to uninstall the game to remove any title updates. Just a reminder that if you play via physical disc you can still do this by not updating the game/playing offline.Makes sense but how do you know that? While I don't own the game on a physical disc, the game is not updated when playing using the physical disc and playing offline (via Settings app -> Network settings -> Go offline). No idea why this game has console commands, so many people are missing out on a good game because of them. I successfully unlocked all achievements using the dev console guide on the Xbox One S vis Cloud gaming. That's just because most people are lazy. I'm fine with discovering objectives but there's so much back and forth faffing around that is obviously meant to extend playing time for its own sake. This tedious game doesn't deserve to be played legit even in Freedom mode. This is supposed to be fun? By the low TA ratios and <30 minute completion times I can tell most players go the dev console route to 100% this game. I'm scanning something, a sea monkey steals the scanner, I chase it, I run out of air, I swim to the surface, I track down the monkey, I chase it again and grab the scanner, I run out of air again and drown on my way back to the surface. ![]() I'm trying not to use cheats but I can see why there's a huge incentive to do so because this game is designed to waste the player's time. ![]()
